Cafe Show Seoul Green Project “Thank You, Coffee” Highlights

History of our ESG Campaign

Green Booth

  • For Sustainable Coffee! Exhibitors participated in our Green Campaign

Café Show Seoul has encouraged our exhibitors to use small-sized sample cups(4~5oz) to reduce waste being dumped. Since 2019, we have recruited exhibitors that have pledged to partake in the green campaign and have selected their booths as “Green Booth” to provide a wide range of support. Green Booth Exhibitors will be handling their samples in biodegradable tasting cups among other eco-friendly promotion materials! Be part of creating a cleaner earth by participating in Café Show’s green project!

Reusable Cup Campaign

  • “It’s fun to use Tumbler! Tumbler and multi-usable cup usage campaign”

Café Show Seoul operates some self-washing zones and tumbler sterilization cleaners to reduce waste. Visitors who brought their own reusable cups tried tasting as much as they wanted and cleaning them through the self-washing zone and sterilizers. It’s fun to use a reusable cup!

“Thank You, Coffee” Pavilion

  • “Let’s meet eco-friendly products and our green project”

Café Show Seoul has collaborated with many companies which produce eco-friendly products, like “Neoforet” making biodegradable cups, “Hicylce” upcycling used coffee bean bags, “Rewind” offering visitors eco-experience programs, etc. BY introducing eco-friendly companies and our green project, Seoul Café Show addresses our message to persuade the environmentally sustainable coffee industry.

Recycling Campaign

  • “Don’t throw away, recycle for another day!”

Café Show Seoul has set up some unique coffee cup trash bins to encourage visitors to recycle paper and plastic cups, collaborating with the Seocho-gu government. hose designed trash bins used to be in the Gangnam-daero to promote our green project. Also, we recycle the coffee grounds to make compost. The exhibitors who made coffee during the show gathered the used coffee grounds in one bag each day and brought it to the organizer who collected all the bags at once.
