The Association for Cooperation for the Integral Development of Huehuetenango, ACODIHUE, is a second-level organization, established in a notarial act on May 21, 1996, and recognized as a legal entity through ministerial agreement 291-96 dated August 28, 1996; It is made up of first-level associations that in turn are made up of community committees and these of small producers. Due to its ethnic diversity in its basic structure, it is identified as a pluricultural and multilingual association.
